Closed New Year’s Day ~ A Well Deserved Day Off For Our Essential Heroes!
The essential heroes at Gerrity’s Supermarkets and Gerrity’s Ace Hardware will be getting an added reward for their hard work. To start the new year off on a good foot and to thank the Gerrity’s team for a job well done, the Fasula Family, owners of Gerrity’s, have decided to close on New Year’s Day. Best of all, they will also be paying everyone for the day. All 1,100 plus team members will receive a day’s pay based on their average daily hours up to eight hours.

“It has been a challenging year. Our team has worked very hard. They have earned an extra day off and we are thrilled to be able to give it to them,” said Joyce “Mom” Fasula, President of Gerrity’s. Fasula’s biggest concern is that she is just hoping not to inconvenience her customers. “That’s why we are doing our best to make sure everyone knows ahead of time and can plan their shopping accordingly.”

Gerrity’s Supermarkets will be open on New Year’s Eve until 7:00 PM. Gerrity’s Ace Hardware will close at 5:00 PM. Both businesses will reopen at the usual time of 7:00 AM on January 2nd.
